2022 REVIEW - SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM FOR THE SPECIAL GIFT OFFER!

  • The MDM's spearheading of the renewal of the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary made great gains, not the least of which was facilitating the Blue Army's addition this past January.
  • The Canada54 National Novena paved the way for the "Mary visits her Children" Pilgrim Statue Tours.
  • It is challenging to put into words the historic nature of the fruit of the Canada54 National Novena. With the support of the CCCB, over 200 Pilgrim Statue Tour events from Coast to Coast to Coast drew multitudes of souls together after 2 years of mostly "Virtual" only events.
  • The Central Pilgrim Statue Tour officially established the last two cities for the St. Michael Pilgrimage Experience as part of its tour.
  • The Papal Visit Pre & Post Processions elevated Our Lady of the Cape onto the world stage leading to the installation of her pilgrim statue at the Tsuut'ina First Nations Reserve near Calgary.
  • Of special note and significance was the establishment, with the support of the bishop of Trois Rivieres and the permission of the Oblates, the MDMs physical presence at Canada's National Marian Shrine.
  • The 2023 Reginas Relic Encounter was announced along with a new website to kick off the MDM's collaboration with Canada's National Marian Shrine for next year's pilgrimage season.
  • The October EWTN Worldwide Broadcast and Pilgrim Experience gave a number of MDMers the opportunity to visit Reginas and participate in activities with the Marian Devotional Movement's chaplain.
  • It was with great joy and the approval of Bishop McGrattan of Calgary that it was announced that Fr. Fabio de Souza was named chaplain of the Marian Devotional Movement effective October 7th, 2022.
  • What is believed to be the first of its kind, the MDM conducted an Online Order of Crowning of the Fr. Fabio designed Our Lady of the Cape pilgrim statue on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.
  • It was celebrated by Bishop Martin Laliberte and Fr. Fabio de Souza and featured MDMers from across North America who participated with Dennis & Angelina broadcasting from Reginas.
  • The Bridge of Roses docudrama continued to gain traction as many parishes took advantage of holding free screenings of the film as part of their pilgrim statue tours.
  • DVDs of the Bridge of Roses were produced in 2022 featuring the film in 3 languages with a bonus video chronicling the 1947 National Pilgrim Statue's procession from the Cape to Ottawa.
